The next day in Ikebukuro, one of my favorite places in Japan. The second floor of this building holds the Milky Way cafe, possibly my favorite place to eat in Japan. (I think I photographed it in 2004 as well.)

The menu here is themed as well. I couldn't read it all, but this was "the assorted cheeses that the count loved.." or something like that. The best presentation of the dishes I ordered. Note the flower petals and little swords.
